Requirements:
- NQF Level 1 or 2 (ABET Level 2 certificate or equivalent)

Duties:
Perform routine road maintenance and construction activities, including:
- Construction of culverts and side drains
- Erecting and maintaining steel guardrails and gabions
- Road earthworks and layer works
- Cleaning and maintaining roads, sidewalks, and rest areas
- Road surfacing and pothole patching
- Fencing and pipe laying
- Setting road markings and studs
- Installing road signs, distance markers, and barricades
- Crushing road material
- Brush clearing and grass cutting
