Requirements
- ABET Level 4 or equivalent qualification
Knowledge:
- Basic maintenance (plumbing, carpentry, electrical)
- Occupational Health and Safety (OHS)
- National Building Regulations
Skills and Competencies:
- Ability to work under pressure
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Teamwork
- Ability to take initiative
Duties
- Attend to minor electrical, plumbing, and carpentry issues
- Conduct building inspections and report to the supervisor
- Assist in developing maintenance schedules
- Log maintenance calls for repairs
- Assist with installations requiring wall mounting
- Repair broken equipment
- Safekeep maintenance tools and equipment
- Conduct monthly stocktaking of maintenance supplies and submit reports
- Perform monthly OHS inspections and report findings
- Support OHS compliance in the building
- Monitor contractors on-site to ensure compliance
