Requirements

  • Grade 12 certificate or equivalent (NQF Level 4)
  • Valid driver’s licence
  • 1–2 years’ experience as a driver/messenger

  • Road traffic rules and regulations

  • Communication (verbal and written)
  • Computer literacy (MS Office)
  • Interpersonal skills
  • Basic administrative and clerical skills

Duties

  • Collect and deliver departmental documents
  • Distribute documents within the Department
  • Transport employees and guests safely and on time
  • Record kilometres travelled
  • Maintain vehicle logbook and fuel receipts
  • Monitor and record vehicle usage
